____________
DAVE CARTER, joined us in June 1995, bringing thirty-plus years of drumming experience and showmanship. He is versatile in all styles of music
but really enjoys country and rock. Dave's humorous commentary adds just the right ingredient for a fun-filled show.
Marshell baker,
started with Mane St. in August 2007 and contributes thirty-plus years of professional
guitar skills and will share vocal responsibilities with John, Jim & Mark . He
also will be handling most of the keyboard responsibilities. Marshall's ability as a songwriter
should give the band more originals to look forward to.
JOHN POTES,
the ever-popular "Ring Master" of our show, brings twenty-plus years experience and is the driving force behind Mane St. His
responsibilities include laying down solid bass lines, lead vocals, and is the founding member of the band. And, if that isn't enough, he also operates
the lighting system during shows and handles the business side of the band.
JIM STANFORD,
primary vocalist of the band, has been entertaining audiences for thirty-plus
years. His pleasant voice is supported by strong rhythm guitar, foot stomping
fiddle and mandolin playing. For several years Jim fronted the popular local
band, Lotta Miles. Whether it is a soothing ballad or a smokin' rocker, Jim
feels right at home and gets the job done.
Scott
Knecht, Sound & Lighting technician for the band.
Combining the talents of these five individuals to form the band
Mane St. has produced an energetic and enjoyable musical entity. Mane St. is
always striving to provide their audience with the current hits but not forgetting the classic favorites. Mane St. has learned through experience that
the audience knows, and shows you what they like. Whatever the case, Mane St. has always risen to the challenge of offering what our listeners
want, namely, "Today's Country . Rock Classics"! So sit back and lend an ear or jump up and dance, but whatever you do, prepare yourself for a
good ol' rock'n time with west Michigan's very own Mane St.
